Surrounded by some of North Devon's prettiest scenery, and recently named the healthiest place to live in the UK, Great Torrington is a historic town brimming with local events, a fantastic community and favoured attractions, including Dartington Crystal and RHS Garden Rosemoor💜

The evening's light shines upon the rocky tops whilst young ferns slowly grow from a small gap in between the rocks at Valley of the Rocks, Exmoor.
The Valley of the Rocks is a dry valley that runs parallel to the coast in north Devon, about 1 kilometre (0.6 mi) to the west of the village of Lynton. It is a popular tourist destination, noted for its herd of feral goats, and for its geology, having good exposures of the Lynton Beds (formally the 'Lynton Formation') that are among the oldest Devonian rocks in north Devon and are highly fossiliferous.
Thanks for looking, Rich.
Today is National Ice Cream Day and as we’re sure you’re aware by now, Devon is the home of great ice cream! The actual treat itself is only part of the experience, equally important is the setting!
So here are five great places to eat (and of course, Instagram) your ice cream:
Devon has topped polls in a list of the UK’s best staycation, with the top five being made up of counties in the West Country, which is hardly surprising given how beautiful this area of the world is!
We did one of our favourite walks today that we hope our visitors will also enjoy this summer! Glorious!
Lynton/Watersmeet/Countisbury/Lynton. You follow the beautiful East Lyn River up in to Exmoor and then return back along the coastal path to Lynton - diverse and stunning in every way! Just under a 5 mile loop give or take! 😎
With a rugged coastline, some of England's most impressive cliffs, and unrivalled views, Lynton & Lynmouth are the walking capitals of Exmoor💚
With such an array of paths to trail, it's easy to become overwhelmed - luckily, we've come to the rescue with a two-day walking itinerary to blend the best rural and coastal routes. Take a look👉bit.ly/WalkingLyntonLynmouth
When did you last walk Exmoor?

HAPPY DEVON DAY!🎉❤️
Today is the day to celebrate all the things we love the most about this part of the country. So let's start with the thing North Devon does better than anywhere else: our beautiful locations.
#Saunton beach is one of my favourite places to photograph. When the tide goes out it leaves a reflection on the sand which makes you feel like you’re walking in the clouds.
It’s one of those experiences that brings on the awe :)
Get outside and just be.
